Untitled (Forever Home), 2020
With the combination of found images and family archives, Untitled (Forever Home) is a digital zine that illustrates Hong Kong’s colonial history under the British rule. Following Melissa’s mother’s childhood and adolescence, the book focuses on how her mother navigated life as a woman during a time and place of constant social change. Life events as well as political conflicts coincide with each other, summarizing the Hong Kong identity and experience that continues to exist today.
