In My Room, 2022

Often times, intimacy is thought to be shared or experienced with another person. But how do we tap into that within ourselves? In My Room focuses on understanding self-intimacy and acknowledges all feelings surrounding the act of it are valid. It is an exploration of vulnerability, confrontation and self-image, where all shades of beauty, ugly and everything in-between coexist in this room. The camera in this project is a documentation tool and plays a significant part in intrusion and invitation.

Shot on Toyo-View 45AX 4 x 5" Field Camera.
